This Cookie Policy explains how Develop Digital Media, LLC doing business as Service Anchor (“Service Anchor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on getserviceanchor.com (the “Site”) and within the Service Anchor platform (the “Service”).

This Cookie Policy is a supplement to our Privacy Policy at getserviceanchor.com/privacy-policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure how the site is used, and similar functions. Some cookies are set by us directly (“first-party cookies”); some are set by third-party services we use (“third-party cookies”). Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (“session cookies”); others persist for a set period of time (“persistent cookies”).

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels (small invisible images used to track an action), and SDK identifiers. References to “cookies” in this Policy include these similar technologies where applicable.

2. Categories of cookies we use

We group the cookies on our Site and Service into three categories.

Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site or Service to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Examples: keeping you signed in, remembering your security preferences during a session.

Analytics cookies. Used to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. Analytics cookies help us improve the Site by showing us which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and how they navigate.

Preference cookies. Remember choices you make on the Site, such as whether you have dismissed our cookie banner.

We do not currently use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising. We do not currently sell or share personal information through cookies as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

3. Specific cookies in use

The following cookies may be set when you visit the Site or use the Service. The exact cookies depend on which features you use and which third-party providers are active at the time of your visit.

The exact cookie inventory may change as we update the Site, deploy new features, or change subprocessors. The categories and purposes described above remain the authoritative description of how cookies are used on the Site, and we will update the table above when material changes occur.

4. How to manage or disable cookies

Through our cookie banner (when available). When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner will appear allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer.

Through your browser. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also configure your browser to reject cookies or to prompt you before accepting one. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will likely break parts of the Site or Service. Detailed browser instructions:

Google Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track signals. Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites you visit. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation of what they mean.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor Global Privacy Control signals where applicable. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any “sale” or “share” of personal information for the duration of the signal, even though we do not currently engage in either.

5. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information (including any data collected through cookies) is transferred to and processed in the United States.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with cookie consent laws (such as the EU ePrivacy Directive), please note that we do not actively target users in those jurisdictions. If you visit our Site from one of those jurisdictions, the cookie banner described in Section 4 collects your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  1. Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy.
  2. Post a notice on the Site or update the cookie banner.

For significant changes (such as adding a new category of cookies for behavioral advertising or sale of personal information), we will obtain fresh consent before the change takes effect.

What does it cost, and when does billing start?

One flat price per company. The founding ladder: the first 25 businesses pay $29 a month for life, the next 50 pay $49 for life, the next 100 pay $59 locked for 12 months, and list price is $79 (Solo: every feature, up to 5 users).

Billing starts the day you finish onboarding (setup wizard complete and your first job on the board). There is no free period: at these prices, the first month is the trial, and your first 30 days are money-back, no questions asked. Applying costs nothing, and there is no card at the application step.

What is included in the price?

Everything. Every feature we ship, up to 5 users (your price never changes when you hire), your business phone number, the carrier registration paperwork and fees, and your texting and calling: up to 1,500 texts and 500 voice minutes a month. No per-user fees, no add-on tiers, no usage bills.

If you regularly send more than that, we reach out and figure it out together. The price does not change behind your back.

What happens when the 25 founding spots fill?

The rate steps up to the next rung: 50 spots at $49 a month for life, then 100 at $59 locked for 12 months, then the $79 list price. Each wave locks its own rate. The ladder only goes up, and a filled wave never reopens.

What does "for life" actually mean?

"For life" means as long as your subscription stays active without a 30-day payment lapse, and as long as Service Anchor continues to operate the platform. If you cancel for more than 30 days and come back later, you rejoin at whatever rung the ladder is on then.

We cannot promise the company exists forever. We can promise that for as long as Service Anchor exists and you keep your subscription active, your founding rate is locked. The legal language lives in our Terms of Service under the Founding Member Program section.

Do you process payments from my customers? What does it cost?

Yes. Your customers pay you through Stripe, and the money lands in your own connected account. Card processing is 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction. That covers Stripe's processing and our 0.6%, and that 0.6% is part of how the subscription stays under $80. We would rather tell you where the margin is than hide it in add-ons.

Is the software stable enough to run my business?

Absolutely. "Beta" does not mean "broken." It means we are still actively adding features and refining the design based on user feedback. The core functions (scheduling, invoicing, customer management, texting, calling) are fully operational and secure.

Can I control what my technicians see in the app?

Yes. Service Anchor has distinct user roles and permissions. Field technicians see exactly what they need to do the job (schedules, job notes, addresses), and you can restrict them from seeing sensitive business data like total revenue, pricing, or admin settings.

Service Anchor needs my EIN or SSN to set up texting. Where does it go?

Mobile carriers require a business Tax Identifier (EIN, or SSN for sole proprietors) for A2P 10DLC business registration before your texts can be delivered. There is no path around this at the carrier level, but we built the data flow to keep your Tax ID out of our systems.

You enter it once during texting setup. We forward it directly to the carrier registry and do not write it to our databases. Only the last four digits stay on your account so you can recognize which Tax ID is on file. The registration fees are on us. The full description is in our Privacy Policy under "Information you provide directly" and "Data retention."

Do you have a mobile app?

Not yet. A dedicated mobile app is currently in development. In the meantime, the platform is fully mobile-responsive and installable as a web app on iOS or Android home screens. Your technicians can log in via their phone or tablet browser to access schedules, update job statuses, and view customer details without downloading anything.
